Privacy notice

We try to keep this short and human. If anything below is unclear, ask us. We will answer in plain English.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Sparked FM Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (No. 16960222), trading as The Sparked Group, whose registered office is 6 Chesterfield Drive, Burton Joyce, Nottingham NG14 5EQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

2. What we collect

• Contact form data: the name, email, and message you submit so we can reply.
• Dreamer listings: if you submit a product to be listed, the product details you enter (name, website, tagline, description, category, who it is for, key features, pricing and stage), the logo and any screenshot or brand colour you add, and your name, role, email address and any LinkedIn profile or company page address you give us. If we approve the listing, we publish the product details, logo, screenshot, your name, your role and your LinkedIn profile address on a public page at thesparkedgroup.com/our-dreamers. We do not publish your email address or your company page address. You can ask us to change or remove a listing at any time.
• Solution applications: the product name, URL, and description submitted through our earlier application form.
• Legacy text chat: if you use the legacy text-only assistant, the messages you type and its replies. If you choose Send this to Josh, also the name, email and optional company you enter, saved with the conversation as a contact message.
• Server logs: standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics: how the site is used and how people find it, including through search and AI search, and which organisations visit. Google Analytics and Searchable store cookies in your browser only if you accept them in our cookie banner. Lead Forensics uses the IP address of your visit and sets no cookies. • Cookies: what's strictly necessary to run the site, plus any analytics cookies you have accepted. See our Cookies notice.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry or application (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR – performance of a contract / pre-contract steps).
• To publish a Dreamer listing you have asked us to publish (Article 6(1)(a) – consent, given with the tick box on the form). You can withdraw it by asking us to remove the listing.
• To answer questions you ask the chat assistant (Article 6(1)(f) – legitimate interests in responding to enquiries about our services). The assistant answers questions and suggests next steps; it does not make decisions about you.
• To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and measure how the site is used without storing anything in your browser (Article 6(1)(f) – legitimate interests).
• To use analytics cookies, where you have accepted them (Article 6(1)(a) – consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising or unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

• Email delivery: Resend (resend.com), for transactional email.
• Published listings: once we approve a Dreamer listing, the published details described above are public, so anyone can see them, including search engines and AI assistants. If you use the Open LinkedIn button in your launch kit, your browser sends the post text to LinkedIn so you can share it.
• Hosting and database: Replit (replit.com) and Neon (neon.tech).
• Analytics: Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) receives page and device information and, if you accept, cookie identifiers, to measure site usage. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Searchable (searchable.com) receives page and request details, including an anonymised IP address and, if you accept, a first-party visitor identifier, to measure usage and AI-search visibility. Lead Forensics (Lead Forensics Ltd, UK) receives your IP address and the pages you view, to identify the organisation a visit comes from. It sets no cookies.
• AI chat: Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, United States) processes the messages you send in the chat assistant to write its replies. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use them to train its models.
• Fonts: Google Fonts serves our typefaces. Google logs the request (IP address, user agent) but sets no cookie on this site.

Our processors are bound by data processing agreements. Some may transfer data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Contact messages and applications are kept while we're in active conversation with you, plus a reasonable retention period (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up. After that, they are deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for the retention period set in our account, which is no longer than 14 months. Searchable keeps analytics data in aggregated form. Messages in the legacy text-only assistant that you do not send to us are held in our server's memory for up to two hours after your last message, so the conversation can continue, and are then discarded; we do not log what they say. Anthropic keeps messages sent to its API for a limited period under its own retention policy.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data (where we have no overriding reason to keep it).
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Port your data to another provider.
• Withdraw analytics consent at any time, using the button on our Cookies notice.

Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. If a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this notice

We'll update this page if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.

Optional website AI assistant

The public website may offer an AI assistant powered by ElevenLabs. Its external widget loads only when you choose to open it. The two-hour in-memory retention description for the legacy text-only assistant above does not apply to ElevenLabs conversations; ElevenLabs processing and retention follow its applicable service terms and the configured agent settings. ElevenLabs receives connection information, including your IP address, and processes the messages you send and audio if you choose voice. We pass your browser time zone to help discuss meeting times.

AI replies can be incorrect. Please do not share confidential information. If you ask to arrange a call, the details you confirm are used for the booking and invitation. You can email [email protected] instead. See ElevenLabs privacy policy for information about its processing.
