What is the EU AI Act literacy rule and what does it mean for my team?

The EU AI Act is Europe's law on artificial intelligence. Its AI-literacy duty, Article 4, has applied since 2 February 2025 and requires organisations to ensure staff who use AI have a sufficient understanding of it.
